Understanding Ceramic Disc Cartridge Technology
The ceramic disc cartridge inside this deck mounted tub filler acts as the precise gatekeeper for your water flow and temperature. Think of it like a pair of exceptionally flat, polished ceramic plates that slide smoothly across one another when you move the single lever. Because ceramic is nearly as hard as diamond, these plates resist mineral buildup and friction wear far better than traditional rubber washers. This mechanical design ensures that your faucet maintains a drip-free seal year after year, providing effortless control with every turn.
Installation Guide
Ensure your deck mount surface is level and meets the required two-hole installation configuration prior to setup.
Connect the water supply lines securely to the solid brass body following standard plumbing guidelines.
Test the single lever handle and ceramic disc cartridge for smooth operation and check all connections for leaks.
Wipe down the high polish chrome finish regularly with a soft, damp cloth to preserve its reflective luster.
Periodically check the flexible hand shower hose and anti-lime nozzles to prevent mineral accumulation.
Care & Maintenance
Daily Drying Wipe the chrome surface dry with a soft microfiber cloth after each use to prevent water spots.
Gentle Cleaning Use mild soap and warm water with a non-abrasive sponge to clean the brass exterior safely.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals Never use abrasive scouring powders, bleach, or acidic cleaners that could damage the high polish finish.
Nozzle Maintenance Gently rub the anti-lime spray holes on the hand shower with your thumb to dislodge mineral deposits.
<Cartridge Care Ensure your water supply lines are flushed during installation to protect the ceramic disc mechanism from debris.
