WHISPERGREEN SELECT™ IS AS EASY AS 1-2-3!
One Fan, Multiple Indoor Air Quality Solutions (IAQ)
You have complete control over this customizable IAQ solution
WhisperGreen Select™ just jumped ahead of the pack in ventilation solutions. Our best fan now delivers an array of solutions for almost any application. Customizable all-in-one fan and fan-light combinations give you more than possible configurations through multiple flow rates, optional Plug 'N Play™ modules, and installation flexibility. WhisperGreen Select™ is your total solution for indoor air quality, code compliance, green certification, and healthy indoor environments.
Choose the amount of airflow with the flip of a switch
Pick-A-Flow™ speed selector allows you to select the proper CFM to ventilate whatever size room you need; you can select a lower or higher speed for special situations. This base-fan model covers a range from 50 CFM up to 110 CFM (50-80-110 CFM model), so ventilation for almost any size room is within reach.
Transform WhisperGreen Select into the exact fan you want
With our unique Plug ‘N Play modules you can choose up to three extra features: Multi-Speed Operation, Motion Sensor, Condensation Sensor and Automatic LED Night Light.
Multi-Speed with Time Delay (FV-VS15VK1) – Allows you to select the proper CFM settings to satisfy ASHRAE 62.2 continuous ventilation requirements. The fan runs continuously at a pre-set lower level, then elevates to a maximum level of operation when the wall switch is turned on, or when the SmartAction® motion sensor or condensation sensor module is activated. A high/low delay timer returns the fan to the pre-set CFM level after a period of time set by the user.
SmartAction® Motion Sensor (FV-MSVK1) – Automatically activates when someone enters the room. Once the settings have been applied, the fan becomes truly automatic, making it ideal for people with disabilities and assisted living environments such as nursing homes and retirement communities. This module also activates an automatic 20 minute delay off timer for the fan.
Condensation Sensor (FV-CSVK1) – Helps control bathroom condensation to prevent mold and mildew. Advanced sensor technology detects relative humidity and temperature to anticipate dew point, automatically turning the fan on to control humidity. Built-in Relative Humidity(RH) sensitivity adjustment enables fine tuning for moist conditions and for satisfying CALGreen requirements. When the condensation sensor is used in conjunction with multi-speed functionality, the fan will kick up to high speed when the condensation sensor detects moisture in the room. This module also activates an automatic 20 minute delay off timer for the fan.
NiteGlow™ LED Night Light (FV-NLVK1) – A specialized photocell feature automatically turns on the 1 watt LED night light when darkness is sensed in the room. Hi/Low brightness switch enables you to fine tune the photo cell to work in conjunction with the darkness level of your bathroom. This module also activates an automatic 20 minute delay off timer for the fan.
The best performing motor available
The revolutionary DC motor with intelligent, self-adjusting Smartflow™ technology moves more air using less energy at a (lower) slower speed, so the fan is more quiet, more energy efficient, and it lasts longer. SmartFlow™ technology senses the amount of resistance in the duct run and adjusts the fan speed to deliver the correct amount of airflow, even in the case of a complicated duct run. Designed to run continuously, WhisperGreen Select™ can deliver whole-house continuous ventilation, so it delivers on ASHRAE 62.2 continuous ventilation requirements. WhisperGreen Select can be used to comply with LEED for Homes, CalGreen and ENERGY STAR® for Homes 3.0.
WhisperGreen Select Lighted Models provide warm, energy efficient lighting
Lighting is an important part of ENERGY STAR®codes and standards, so Panasonic fans have the most energy efficient bulbs in the industry. WhisperGreen Selectincorporates two replaceable GU24 base LED lamps that squeeze more lumens per watt (greater than 80LPW!) than other manufacturers do. As an ENERGY STAR partner, all of our fans are ENERGY STAR-certified, where guidelines exist and labeled appropriately — so your verifier can confirm you are using an energy efficient and environmentally friendly product.
Lighting is an important
WhisperGreen Select™ fan/light models feature a contemporary flush mount grille that incorporates Two replaceable, ENERGY STAR rated, 7W GU24 base LED lamps. Panasonic’s advanced LED technology lasts 4 times longer than compact fluorescent lamps and does not contribute to mercury waste when disposed.
Lighting is an important part of these codes and standards, so Panasonic fans have the most energy efficient bulbs in the industry.
Freedom to install in showers and the ducting flexibility to get there
Because Panasonic fans are UL listed for tub/shower enclosure (just install them on a GFCI-protected circuit), your installation options open up. WhisperGreen Select incorporates an integrated dual 4 in. or 6 in. duct adapter to give you flexibility in duct layout and design. For short runs, you can go with a smaller duct size, but long runs are OK, too — just move up to a 6 in. duct. The Flex-Z Fast™ Installation Bracket with articulating joints is for ideal for positioning the fan exactly where you want it in old construction or new. Also fits in 2 x 8 construction.
ENERGY STAR®- Certified for Energy Savings
Panasonic's high air-flow-to-energy ratio not only helps the fans run cooler, it means they use less energy — which saves money. Better yet, the fan will not be a hole in the ceiling that will sabotage your blower door test. The built-in metal flange helps create an air barrier so meeting strict energy codes and green building requirements, like ASHRAE 62.2, LEED, CalGreen and CA Title 24, is a snap.
As an ENERGY STAR partner, our fans are ENERGY STAR certified and labeled appropriately — so your verifier can confirm you’re using a high performing, energy efficient product.

Panasonic Corporation of North America and its subsidiaries and affiliates employ about 12,000 people in the region.
Established in New York City in 1959, Panasonic Corporation of North America was known as Matsushita Electric Corporation of America, until 2005 when its company name was changed to strengthen its connection to the brand and the customer. Throughout its history, Panasonic has made understanding how its products can impact people's lives a core focus for product development and refinement.
Contributing to the Well Being of People Principles
Worldwide, Panasonic Corporation and its subsidiaries are guided by a basic business philosophy created by founder Konosuke Matsushita. He began the journey in 1918 by inventing a two-socket light fixture. Profound in its import yet elegantly simple, Konosuke Matsushita's breakthrough led to what is now one of the world's largest electronics companies. As he built Matsushita Electric, he never lost sight of the importance of putting the needs of his customers and the public first.
That philosophy holds that the mission of the enterprise is to contribute to the progress and development of society and the well-being of people worldwide. This thinking continues to guide management to this day.
In the U.S., Panasonic creates and supports initiatives that contribute to people in the communities where it does business. Such initiatives include the Panasonic Foundation, which partners with school districts that are committed to school reform; Panasonic Kid Witness News, a worldwide video education program for public school children in underserved communities; and Panasonic Design Challenge, a program for New Jersey high schools that encourages engineering achievement, especially related to preserving the environment - and rewards students with scholarships.
Panasonic Corporation of North America is a strong proponent of the responsible recycling of electronics. Panasonic, together with Sharp Electronics Corporation and Toshiba America Consumer Products established Manufacturers Recycling Management Company, LLC (MRM), an EPA-award winning joint venture which manages collection and recycling operations. Working with MRM, Panasonic now has nearly 1800 locations at which end-of-life products can be dropped off for recycling. MRM's mission is to provide convenient recycling opportunities to consumers. Its long-term goal is sustainable electronic product recycling.
On a global basis Panasonic is committed to securing a healthy future for both the planet and its people. The company's founder, Konosuke Matsushita said Panasonic is about more than technologies, as our commitment to "people before products" demonstrates.
The company is pursuing advanced environmental strategies based upon three eco ideals, including reducing its global carbon footprint, vastly increasing the number of energy-efficient products it makes and encouraging the growth of environmental awareness and sustainability worldwide.
