ALFI brand fireclay farm sinks are a throwback to a simpler time. Designed to offer the traditional popular look of an apron farm sink with a contemporary twist. Made of the highest quality solid fireclay to insure it not only looks great but also lasts for a very long time.

Sink is glazed on three sides with a 2'' decorative lip all around.
This sink tapers from top to bottom by 5/8''. Bottom Width:30 1/2'' Top Width 31 3/4''.
Dimensions may vary by 1/8''. For your countertop cut out template we recommend that you have the actual sink on location for tracing.
Divider is 1/2in thick
This sink can be installed in 3 different ways, all of which feature an exposed front apron. The most common is Undermount, where the countertop flows over the edge of the sink. Another option is Flushmount where the countertop and top edge of sink are exactly the same height, in this case the silicone sealer between the sink and countertop will be visible. The third option is Topmount where the countertop buts up against the side of the sink which sticks up above the height of the countertop. Not to be confused with drop-in which this sink is not designed for.
This fireclay sink is compatible for use with a garbage disposal. The drain size is standard 3 1/2" and the sink is durable enough to use with a disposer, no problem

The Benefits of an Authentic farmhouse sink. The Quality of the Finish - The glazing of the sink surface provides both durability and shine over long periods of time. The raw material used fine fireclay allows for uniformity in the finish.

Durability - The sinks glaze is practically impervious to threatening bacteria from food preparation. Stains do not penetrate the glaze and can be easily wiped away. Acids and chemical cleaners have virtually no adverse effect on sink. Coffee stains cigarette burns and other daily occurances that would adversely effect kitchen sinks made from other materials are easily wiped away on fireclay sinks.

Scratches - These sinks are not adversely affected by scratches from pots pans knifes etc.

Thermal Shock - Thermal Shock (very hot or very cold water) has no effect whatsoever on the sink.

This apron sink was a catch for the price. Couldn't find it cheaper anywhere considering shipping was free. The construction guy was satisfied with the sink and wanted to know where we got it. He said the price was amazing too. (Posted on 6/22/12)

Q: Besides the sink, what else do I need to buy to install this sink? under sink supports? drain? garbage disposal connection? etc. thanks.

A: It is up to your contractor if they want use our installation kit, model WHUMSB. Sometimes contractors have their way of creating a support system so it is best to ask before you purchase. If you are going to install a garbage disposal you will need a disposer trim which is model WH200, you can choose which finish you would like in the finish options. For the other side of the sink you will need a regular strainer, model RNW35 which also comes in different finishes. We also carry grids for each bowl that sits at the bottom of your sink to add extra protection, model GR512L and GR512R.

Q: ALFI AB538 Double apron sink. Does this sink require anything special to install a disposal? A different size flange or ???

A: No, this sink requires a standard 3 1/2" waste disposer trim if installing a garbage disposer. The model we carry that would go with this sink is WH200.

A: This sink can be installed topmount, flushmount or undermount. No matter which way you install this you will need to support the sink from underneath by creating a support system or buy purchasing the installation kit we carry, model WHUMSB.
